Just wanted to thank all of you again for your input and let you know how it went.

We arrived verryy late and very tired Friday night. The Elite Guest Coordinator made sure we had a far above average welcome gift waiting in our room - wine, Perrier, cheeses, crackers, fruit. Upgraded to a very nice and comforable corner executive suite. The sushi served at the bar in the atrium is a little above average in price but is of superb quality and well worth it - do try it out if you are a sushi lover.

All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Sad to see that the tropical birds are gone from the atrium.

We will definitely consider staying here again.

P.S., our rate included breakfast, but we were told that Plat (and gold?) elites receive 1 free fresh start breakfast daily. That's at least something which I would have appreciated if I had needed it. I'd like to see at least a lower tier benefit like 1 free breakfast or 50% off coupons for breakfast being offered to higher tier elites at "Resort" properties.
