Let's see...

Good coffee? Nothing out in the West Valley but Suckbux... Well, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf down on Ventura is on par...but nothing to get excited about. A real coffeehouse it ain't.

Lunch? Akari Sushi down on Ventura Blvd. is pretty darn good. Gorikee is also fine if you like Mediterranean-Asian fusion....with a healthy dose of garlic.

Dinner? I'd agree, Saddle Peak Inn does a marvelous meal to feed your inner gourmet. Order the buffalo or the venison...you'll be happy

Or you can go way downscale to one of my favorite "dives"... Grandpa Fred’s BBQ up on Victory Blvd. hidden at the end of a stripmall. No decor or atmosphere, just Southern Q (and Gumbo on friday & saturday) Too busy for lunch during the week...but the beef ribs are to die for.
