We love all of Ireland but if you stay in Dublin at least get the train and go to Howth for the afternoon. Great cliff walk and seafood, about a 20 min ride. The train south to Greystone is nice also. The train goes through the mountains and it is all along the coast. My favorite is the West of Ireland. The cliffs, Doolin, Yes to McGanns, Churchfields B&B is down the road so you can walk home and stop at McDermotts on the way. Lahinch is the best seaside village and if the weather is nice you can take a ferry to one of the Aran Islands. Pay a little extra and see the cliffs from the ferry. Puffins are everywhere. Shannon is a great airport for the West.
