Two years in a row now having difficulty booking Skymiles award travel (especially for Business Elite) from Atlanta to Honolulu and back (for I and my wife and daughter). If I call as early as possible (330 days out or so), have found no seats available, and/or unable to book anything since the return leg seats haven't been released yet (Catch 22)!!! And it seems being PM & 2-Million Miler have no effect. Then if wait until return leg seats are released, the outbound seats are now not available. More Catch 22. Anybody with good ideas on how to skin this cat? Otherwise the system as is is useless, until they make it more user-friendly and/or honor medallion-level "seniority". HELP HELP HELP! I've got 10 days until my outbound legs for 2009 trip need to be requested. Thanks ..................
