As the previous poster said, follow the signs CAREFULLY, they can be confusing. Normally there will be a cabin announcement telling you your gate for the connecting flight as you taxi in - listen carefully and make a note of it as it will make navigation considerably easier.

If your incoming flight is late, AF are very good about escorting you for tight long-haul connections. I arrived from AMS with 45 minutes to make an LAX connection last week and all passengers with tight connections (LAX, JFK, ORD and HAV) were met at the jetbridge (or maybe bus drop-off in your case), and rushed through staff lines at immigration and security.

As an added bonus, my luggage made it too
