I've watched flight crews bolt through before, but this is very normal. The TSA lets them cut in front of you -- even at the xray. One particular time, i was late for a flight, and it turned out it was my flight crew.

I have also been "walked through" security and taken right to the xray, by passing others. They get kinda upset..but oh well...
