I had the same problem. I cancelled all my unwanted reservations for the 30th of August, but away from home with no internet access I decided to ring the Platinum line to check and make sure there were none left (I got the worst CSR possible, said he couldn't checkmy reservations only give me my points balance...). So had to waste money (I don't get toll free on my phone) ringing reservations to find that a booking I cancelled with Peterborough Marriott was still there. When I got home I found I HAD cancelled this three days before and had an e-mail to that effect. This has made me very wary. I keep ALL cancellations in a folder on my PC, so I should have proof...
