The whole luggage thing makes me wonder sometimes. I flew SAT ORD on Friday night. After waiting 45 minutes and watching the monitors, I still did not have a luggage carousel number for my flight.

I went over to an agent and asked, he said as soon as they offload the luggage, there will be a number next to my flight and that due to the time (8 p.m.) it was extremely busy and it could take more than an hour. I noticed a flight that landed 30 minutes before mine that still didn't have a carousel number which seemed to add credibility to his story.

Just for giggles and grins, I walked over to the self help machines, put in my flight and last name, and magically, it said my bag was on carousel 5. I went over to the carousel--no one else was there--but all the bags from the flight were going around--who knows for how long.

I picked up my bag and left. Anyone could have picked up a bag and headed out.
