Agentine ski resorts, such as Las Lenas and Cerro Caterdal in Bariloche are really trying to market more to U.S. and Europe. Five years ago you wouldn't see an ad for any Argentine ski resort in a North American ski magazine or travel magazine. Now, you see more advertising, plus the internet has changed everything. But I don't know of too many places you can ski in August in the Northern hemisphere.

Lots of Americanos in Bariloche this year. The past years it's only been the ski geeks you'll find anywhere with mountains and snow, but this year had a lot of annoying tourist. (Then again not much more annoying some of the new rich porteņos

)
