Advice from an Indian who goes back home a lot:

1) AVOID DEL at all costs. Fly into BOM and stay the night at IC GRAND for 1 night.

2) Take the Kingfisher flight to GOA in F so the pampering can keep going. Then check into the TAJ FORT AGUADA -- great for honeymooners. That is where I did my honeymoon.

3) Now, if you can book the outbound from DEL, then I would suggest that route. Fly Goa to Delhi in Kingfisher in F and stay at any of the OBEROI properties in Delhi/Agra properties and you will be treated like a Maharja/Maharani for the entire duration of your stay.

4) Then fly out of DEL.

I would never ever recommendflying into DEL especially to start your honeymoon. And tell every hotel that you stya at, it is your honeymoon and they will do something special for you.
