If I can't get the upper deck, I actually love 6A or 6H on the lower deck. Yes there is 5" less pitch, and although I'm 6'1", I find legroom to be adequate and can still fully extend the legrest. It is also very easy to get out of the window seat without bothering the aisle passenger, the light/noise from the galley hasn't been an issue in these seats, and the lav traffic is tolerable. Also, I love the view out the windows (3 windows to choose from) and you can get a great angle of the wing & engines. Also one of the first to deplane after First Class.
Just my thoughts as seatguru and seatexpert have varied descriptions (seatexpert actually gives these seats a RED/bad rating). YMMV
had the misfortune(or fortune as it's an opup) of sitting in 6H once DEN/ORD, and I think even row 6 on A320 has more legroom.
The only reason that you can access the aisle easily is bacause there is no one in front you to recline.
