Article in English here: Air France-KLM Expanding to Offer Rail Transport.

The new company is hoping to purchase several AGV trains, which can reach a maximum speed of 350 km/h (217 mph), to run between Paris and London and Paris and Amsterdam.

I think this is an exciting development. I think it makes sense for the airlines to look at partnering with (or in this case, owning) trainlines to provide short-haul connections to their long haul flights.

Plus it'll be nice to earn some points for trains I have been taking already inter-city to airports.
