The major parts of the story are:

              There was also some article some time ago (sorry couldn't find the link anymore) that there was some kind of battle going on between the owners of Domodedovo airport and the Russian Government about DME airport. It seem that some people were quite unhappy about the success of DME - in contrast to SVO.

              I am just wondering what will happen to the planned partnership of AirUnion with Star Alliance. LH and quite a few other members of Star Alliance moved their service from SVO to DME some time ago.
