Absolutely. If it's not "touristy" it can be fun buying local clothing and accessories. I've bought scarves, belts, jewelery, and the occasional cute skirt.

I think it's a nice way to bring back a memory of a place that won't stay on a shelf collecting dust, plus it supports the local economy.
