The guys over on the FinnAir Plus site tend to concede that their J is not as good as BA's (there's a thread comparing TATL) ... can't comment on it being "as bad as KLM's".

If you're travelling beginning of Oct, I guess you'll need a pretty quick response. I'm travelling a pretty similar itin for the first time (in reverse) toward the end of Sep, primarily because AY J is priced well below that of QF/BA/CX (with similar TPs ^) and also because of the excellent connections at HKG with QF29/30 and the minimal time at HEL compared with LHR.

If AY J is any good, then this will be a "proving flight" for my trips back to Blighty.
