Where are all the 1P, 1K, and GS flyers? The last four transcons I've ticketed had upgrades clear at the time of booking, three using miles and one using a CR1 -- from L and W classes! On busy SFO-IAD routes! ^
Can't say that I'm complaining, just mystified. Seems strangely too easy.
By the way, last week I had the upper deck of a newly outfitted 747. Many hardware and software glitches with the suites and the IFE system. My original seat/suite didn't even function mechanically at all. Asked to be reseated. FAs completely clueless on any of the suites features or operations. Two of them said "I've never seen these before."
