Seems like just a few months ago that I was typing on this thread, and I've just re-read my message and it was dated 2006. Anyway, have just booked the hotel again for a 5 day points stay straddling NYE, so looking forward to sampling its delights one more time (albeit at a very high points cost!). Only SPG Gold these days, so not so confident of the decent upgrade we received last time.
