I heartily recommend Mauritius. We stayed at the Hilton earlier this year and found it very enjoyable. Of course we were using points so having a free stay was a plus. There are quite a few things to do if you want to get off the beach. There are a number of parks and preserves if you like wildlife. On offer are plenty of unusual native birds as well as a preserves where they raise crocodiles and giant tortoises. Pamplemousse garden is worth a visit. And if you are into shopping there is no shortage including a model boat factory that is pretty cool.
