Seatcounter was inaccurate my last two trips on Delta.
As far as seat maps - you never know how many seats are taken and how many are reserved for airport assignment.
If you want reliable data you have two options:
- Expertflyer.
- Try to make a reservation, Delta will let you know the lowest available fare.
