Setting the Elite bonus the same for Gold and Plat makes no sense. What's the motivation to fly CO more? Better to hit 50k and jump ship to AA or UA.

I have no problems with baggage fees (basically a pay for use fee) or the <500 miles get actual. But treating Plats and Golds the same for Elite bonus miles is a dumb business decision.
