G-BOAC, sorry I should have been more specific. As a humble consumer, who has not booked a code-share like this before, its strange to me -
- that my booking appears twice in MMB under different confirmation codes; one version allows me to attempt seat selection, the other advises me to do this at check-in. Guess I'll have to ring someone to find out whats going on, good job I have nothing else to do
- that one of these bookings shows our allocated outbound seats in a normal cabin layout, just like any other booking I've made, but for the return leg, our allocated seats do not appear on the display at all. There was simply clear white space where our seats 26A,B should be (and 26J,K were also absent). Maybe its a bug on this particular booking, but ...Guess I'll have to ring someone to find out whats going on and make sure I have seats, good job I have nothing else to do
- that MMB would let me attempt a seat selection transaction successfully - only to find later that it moved MrsLA but not me (bearing in mind it was done under my BAEC login, and that I moved my seat first, so, I know I did it right).Guess I'll have to ring someone to find out whats going on, good job I have nothing else to do.
- that MMB allows me to attempt a seat-selection transaction on the outbound but not on the inbound. Guess I'll have to ring someone to make that seat selection, good job I have nothing else to do

(Self-righteous DYKWIA mode on): I want to see my booking once, and I want to select my seat with a minimum of fuss - whether online, or by phone. Not faff about wondering what has been dished up to me on the screen and calling helpdesks for clairification. And please dont mess about with my choice after I'm finished with it !! (:mode off)
