This has been my position on bag fees all along. But the airlines are convinced that they have to do it on the back end, rather than up front.

And yes, the airline that doesn't tack on tons of fees is going to look like the good guy and come out ahead. Right now that airline is WN, and I think it will continue to be. But I sure wish it was CO that would use some common sense and be that airline.
