Great heads up aka julie. This should help Starbucks ( and me ). The folks who benefit the most from this are multiple week owners who can churn out a lot nights. I see this as a good ownerhsip enhancement since MVC owners get hit with significant ownership devaluation as the MR program raises redemption requirements and the annual MFs keep going up. Together, they decrease the value of turning you MVC week straight back to Marriott for the MR points. This is a good carrot and stick solution for those MVC folks who wind their timeshare usage into non-TS stays with Marriott.
