Ahh yes I saw that map and couldn't work out if level 5 was airside or landside... I'll check it out. Thanks!

PS - does Japan have exit immigration procedures?

There is a food court and a convenience store up there in addition to the outdoor viewing gallery. Starbucks / Mcdonalds is a level below.

Just make sure you leave enough time to get through CIQ and security as this is in the public area.

If you want to be inside the secure area, you can find some quiet areas near the empty gates with power outlets.
