Let's put it this way, an LH F attendant once apologized profusely to me for serving me tea that was "not hot enough"

I had an LH FA figure out that our connection in MUC was "too long" and ask us if we wanted the captain to radio ahead to get us confirmed on an earlier connecting flight. We told him that we didn't think the rules would allow it (this was on a UA award ticket and travel had already begun) but it would be great if he could make it happen. He spoke to the captain and the captain had the change made. It was truly an amazing bit of CS by LH.
