Cebu Pacific customer service
I have flown to/from the Philippines 2 times this year and both times used Cebu Pacific for domestic flights within the country. I also experienced substantial dificulty making reservations, and found their customer service to be incredibly bad. I was stranded in Boracay after the recent typhoon Frank and when I went to the Cataclan airport to get back to Manila I found that the ticket check-in counter for every carrier in the airport was orderly except for CP. Theirs was complete chaos. After being a standby for 2 flights, I finally made it onto a plane. I recommend that if you have a choice between PAL and CP, go with the more experienced PAL. BTW, a friend in Manila told me a story about CP. This is entirely heresay and is NOT confirmed in any way. It seems that right after the airline started operations, they experienced a plane crash with a water landing. So it seems that to Filipinos, the term "Cebu Pacific" means... "Take off in Cebu, land in the Pacific!"
