Sir Ian McKellen on the BA59 to CPT last night. He slept like a baby right up to the point where the CSD had to rouse him just before landing. I was a bit star struck & wanted to go up and speak to him as he seemed anything but DYKWIA but now I'm glad I didn't as I was going to say, "I'm very pleased to meet you Mr. Hurt." Phew!
He is flying back and forth from there quiet a bit at present as he is filmning a remake of The Prisoner - based in SA rather than Wales. I have the pleasure of doing charity work with him at STONEWALL and he is a real down to earth and friendly chap who would have loved to have had a chat with you - even if you got his name wrong !!!!
