Not an answer to your question, sorry! But, along the same line... does anyone know what the "A320 Overwater" configuration is/ where it is designed to fly? How many of them are there? I have never seen an A320 on an "overwater" leg, but have had been lucky enough to be in the bulkhead of this craft many times. More space than F/C!
