What about the front galley?!?!
Allow me to renew my concerns about narrowbody IFS:
HOW are they proposing to deliver a full IFS J meal service from the miserably small front galley on the 752? IFS J service has a lot of service elements that take up a lot of space: PEDs, duty free, liquor, wet ice, dry ice, meal setups, salads, ice cream bowls, multiple coffee and tea containers, mugs, follow-on service setups, etc. etc. etc. Plus, given that it would be 2-class IFS, it would be the "enhanced" IFS J service featuring full sundaes, toppings, separate appetizers, marinated cheese, plated-on-board entrees, etc.
I know we've all seen how on the 763, the galley is pretty much filled to capacity in order to serve a full cabin the standard dinner + hot breakfast.
The 752 galley is much smaller. Is AA going to reconfigure the galleys to allow more space? I would hate to be the poor galley FA (who gets paid extra, so is usually the most senior) trying to prep all of those service elements.
Or will the J service be downgraded since the equipment will be used on secondary routes?
