i went to the concerige this morning and asked about a buy-up. He got on the phone and whispered a bit muttering my last name and something aout being oversold and next thing I know I have a free upgrade to WT+ (as an aisle seat, i normally choose window but no more left). He was very nice. WT seemed to be sold out but WT+ was maybe half sold and CW was maybe 15% sold. Honestly, I was pretty impressed with WT+ if only because I think that is a reasonable way to travel. I saw the CW and F seats and I have to ask, why would you pay a premium for that?! I don't get it. AF is far better. Anyway, happy to go WT+ and if i was a small business owner, I think that is a pretty good compromise for employees.
