OTOH, will you agree with me that something is wrong with AA's persistent refusal to take a simple step that it implements in its other hubs, i.e., security lines for ALL elites, not just those with a first class boarding passes? I just do not believe that this criticism is unjustified. Fixing that problem would go a long ways to alleviate the problems caused with the changes in the checkpoint. Given that it is a standard procedure at the other hubs, why should it be a rocket science challenge for AA at MIA?
I agree that this issue has been beaten to death and there has been a bit of exaggeration on this board. However, even AA's own website acknowledges that MIA is a mess by making it the ONLY US airport on the list for excessively long suggested arrival times. Found HERE

Given this, you'd think AA would be sensitive to the hassle this creates for their elite passengers. If any airport needs an elite line, it's this one.
