Czech Air is OK. Not splendid, mind you, and the metal is probably not too perfect, but the service is definitely better than any US air company in the same class.

I fly them between Oslo and Belgrade regularly (it's THE cheapest: way below published fares). They serve free booze in Economy on just about 2 hour long flights and a selection of special meals (nothing stunning, but still way beyond KLM's soggy cheese sandwich).

However, last time I flew them, Czechs didn't have the special meal I ordered, and on neither leg (Oslo-Prague or Prague-Belgrade).

I sent them an email complaining that it was not fair to leave me eating 2 bread buns alone for 5 hours (too short a connection time in Prague for a real meal at the airport) and I didn't ask for anything. But they sent me a $ 50 voucher.
