You may not sleep WELL in a very warm cabin but it does make you drowsy.

I have always believed that they turn the temp up to send the passengers to sleep so that there will be less work for them-no one to interrupt thier chat in the galley.

A hot cabin always makes me sleepy especially after lunch/dinner and a few glasses of wine.
