I did my best to try to direct the MIA criticism to the issue at hand and the topic of this post, C and D checkpoints. In fact, I agree with you that the general issue of MIA operations has been beaten to death and is the subject of exaggeration and misstatement. OTOH, will you agree with me that something is wrong with AA's persistent refusal to take a simple step that it implements in its other hubs, i.e., security lines for ALL elites, not just those with a first class boarding passes? I just do not believe that this criticism is unjustified. Fixing that problem would go a long ways to alleviate the problems caused with the changes in the checkpoint. Given that it is a standard procedure at the other hubs, why should it be a rocket science challenge for AA at MIA?
