Let's see... parked aircraft at KIX arriving from SFO at 3:35pm for 23.5 hours (aircraft departs back to San Francisco at 2:55pm) or taking it on an extra run to HNL and having two three hour ground times in KIX instead... even if the flight is going out relatively light - there's more revenue there than there would be if the plane just sat there for a day.
