I haven't found print confirmation of this: only a USA Today article from May in which a spokesman denied both claims.
Is this confirmed? If true, it's the end of all direct flights to LAS from virtually everywhere, including SNA and SEA. And, necessarily, the end of my nine-year relationship with the airline.
I would look at future schedules. SEA will still have 3 flights a day to/from LAS. Other cities may still have flights as well. However, the "night hub" is closing.
