I can only recommend a few things since I'm not that familiar with US.
Look for transcon fares to LAX/SFO/SEA via PHL or Charlotte if you want to stay domestic!
In general it is easier to try transatlantic flights, for example to FRA.
Since you are in FL, how far is PBI from you ?
