Have to say I agree w/ UA res on the MOST DIRECT routing issue, avek00. Seems if UA has a nonstop, and it's available, this would fulfill the most direct routing rule for *A award travel. As far as I know, the rules of the award do in fact state that the most direct available routing must be used. Also, good ideas from transpac on posting on *A section of FT, and if you have a corporate travel department who will help you out for personal travel.
