Went to LGW last week and got told to use the lift instead of the escalator by one of those students wearing yellow t-shirts and holding plastic bags, this was from the floor that leads from the carpark going up to the checkin floor.

I was told it was because i was carrying luggage, which was a (within size spec) piece of wheelie hand luggage

Waited ages for the lift and then i noticed that pressing one "call" button does not call all 4 lifts, just the lift you pressed the button on
