I suggest you either fly another carrier on this route, or do an open-jaw HKG-SFO and buy the SIN-HKG as a seperate paid F ticket as SQ will not provide you with full F service when you are on an award ticket. You won't be getting access to The Private Room.
Can you elaborate on what differs for full and discounted paying F pax vs Star Award F pax? What happens on board, like no BTC for award tkt holders, no F lounge access, etc???
