There are two easy check-in kiosks in the baggage claim area of ORD, next to the 'crew checkin' area. What is the purpose of these? I suppose if a crew member had purchased a ticket and wanted to check in, they could use that. (But how often would that happen?)
I attempted to use it yesterday, but due to my rebooking, it got really confused. (I had the same flight on two different days in the PNR)

And I also wonder what happened to the Easy Checkin units down by the blue line. They appeared a few years ago, but were never plugged in. And now they're gone. Perhaps the city doesn't have any electricity for United's use there...
