I've been a Hertz 5* and Gold for many years. Unfortunately, my current employer has Avis as the preferred vendor for Rentals.

I tried searching and looking for stickies but didn't find an answer.

When renting with Avis (on a personal rental, using a company negotiated rate), can I register an additional driver (an uncle in this instance)? Is there a fee? Do some AWDs offer discounts on this over others?

The most convenient Avis location to me, offers Cobalts and Pontiac G6s. Any ride reports on these vehicles? The Hertz forum used to be stuffed with Ride reports from prashok, IceTrojan and others - any comparable reports over here on the Avis forum?
