They run across a wide range of demographics and locations, and although they represent a mere slice of the entire FF population, they are an amalgam, and the responses can be extrapolated to get a sense of the current feeling.

The FACT of the matter is that US management has a track record of contempt and hostility toward their most frequent customers, and Doug and Scott have even made public comments to employee groups which show their contempt for high level flyers. The policy changes and devaluation of both the product itself and the DM program further prove how out of touch they are with their customer base, regardless of how you feel personally.

I am relatively certain that less than 2 in 10 FF's are currently happy with the situation at US today. Actions speak louder than words, and their actions have shown they don't care about their elite customers, so we're basically just doing what they are asking--moving on to other airlines.

With the proper management this could have been a truly great airline, but that ship has sailed--

And regardless of which airline I currently fly myself, I am responsible to act on behalf of my entire constituency, which means if FFOCUS members want me to speak for them, I do so gladly.

It's not just the FF's who frequent boards like this who are fed up with US-to believe that is the case is to be as blind as those in the Sand Castle. They have NO follow through whatsoever, and they are happy to step over dollars to save pennies.

The employee and customer (in that order) are the most vital assets a company has in an effort to succeed. Until US management stops seeing them as a liability (again actions speak louder than words), things will not improve.

I still have many contacts on the inside too by the way.

I hope you stay happy with US, and that they continue to meet your needs. For most current or former FF's at US, however, that is not the case, and that is what we seek to change.

Enjoy your weekend.

All I can say is you can think your way, I think my way and thats our right. I don't agree with your group or what it does but again you group has its right. Plus I really don't think you know what most FFs at US want or desire, but again you have the right to think what you want. I do know that no matter what I say you will continue to feel as you do.
