It would be nice if Marriott would just let you transfer points between accounts the way starwood does. I can understand not allowing joint accounts, but why make it so difficult to transfer points.
They do. If you need more points to make a reservation, Marriott will empty the primary reservation account and top it off with points from the spouse's account.
