My fiance and I stayed at this property on a reward stay this past September. The room was ok... nothing great, but totally fine for our needs. The beds were very comfortable.

The pool area was nice. I do not think breakfast was included.. it could have been, but we did not take advantage if it was.

Bottom line, I think I would have been a bit underwhelmed if I was paying for the stay, but since it was a reward stay I was perfectly happy.

Be forewarned, the beach is not at the property .. it is down the street, and really is just a private area of a public beach (Smathers Beach). We went once and it is was very dirty.. we ended up going downtown to a beach at a state park, which was WORLDS better than the one near the Doubletree.

We drove from MIA - actually every time I have gone to the Keys I have driven from MIA - it is a 3 hour drive, and there is some construction along the way.
