China Airlines and Hainan Airlines to cooperate on "Frequent Flyer Programs"

China Airlines has announced that effectively on Sept. 1st, 2008, that it will formally work with Hainan Airlines on the "Frequent Flyer Programs" where members of CAL's Dynasty Frequent Flyer Program can accumulate mileage in their accounts when traveling on Hainan flights. At the same time, members of Hainan Airlines can enjoy the same benefits when traveling on China Airlines.

The frequent flyer cooperation covers all routes directly operated by China Airlines and Hainan Airlines (including additional flights and cross straight charters, but does not include code shared flights operated by other airlines or other charter flights). Members of Dynasty FFP will be able to accumulate miles when holding a regular paid fare for Hainan flights, and vice versa. Miles accumulated may also be used to redeem award tickets on the other airline.

In addition to Hainan Airlines, China Airlines has frequent flyer cooperations with Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Northwest Airlines. Members of the Dynasty Flyer Programs will now have more choices when traveling to mainland China and worldwide.
