As a person of average stature (< 6'0") I have only found E+ to make the most compelling difference when planning to use a laptop in-flight. With standard seat pitch, when the person ahead of you fully reclines their seat seconds after takeoff, you have to become a contortionist to use a laptop comfortably. Otherwise, if you're just planning to sleep/read/watch IFE and don't need above-average legroom (relatively speaking), save your $$. IMHO.
