Do you mean changing seats in OLCI as you mentioned in the other thread, or making changes from the View/Change Reservation link.

If its OLCI then the seat on your boarding pass is the right one. If its from the View/Change link... I think you might be missing an error message thats telling you the seats are under airport control or something similar.
