The fact that you are ticketed as UA and on a UA code-share might make them amend their own baggage rules to bring them in line with the UA allowances...
I have flown LH a number of times on feeder flights within Europe to connect to TATL UA flights - never a complaint from LH about baggage exceeding 23 kg.

I was, however ticketed by UA on a UA flight number. So you might be right that this decides it for LH <-> UA.

Anyone with experience as to AC in this regard?
