LH enforces their own rules of 23 kgs. for Y pax and 32 kgs. for C pax under piece concept...*G gets one extra piece at these weights.

They also are quite anal about this at EWR.

The fact that you are ticketed as UA and on a UA code-share might make them amend their own baggage rules to bring them in line with the UA allowances...
